What to bring???
I'm going out with a trainer later this evening for six weeks STRAIGHT (that's right--no TAH for the whole thing!), and wanted to know what I shouldn't leave without.
Obvious things like clothes, towel, and toiletries come to mind, but what else? What items do you find indispensible?

Well since you haven't gotten a straight answer let me think. You are kind of limited going with a trainer as to how much you can take. Cell phone, laptop, reading material, baby wipes. Your trainer will have map, cb, stuff you'll need in your own truck but you wont have room to take everything you'll need in your own truck. That's really all I can think of right now you don't need a whole other than clothing and stuff at this point. Make sure you take a coat and a couple of long sleeve shirts. Weather can vary greatly from coast to coast. BOL

Concentrated laundry detergent.
Sleeping bag, a sheet and your own pillow. Foot powder and shoe spray. Earplugs. Laundry bag. Notebook and pens and pencils. Sufficient clothing for 10 days., 15 for underwear & socks. A light jacket. Gloves two pairs of shoes.

Stuff to Bring
"A picture of your family, to make sure you recognise them when you come back." The reverse is also true, leave a picture of yourself so they'll recognize you when you get home.
BTW, don't employers give potential new hires a hardcopy list of what to bring anymore? I'd leave the laptop at home and instead of the cell, a calling card. Less likely to lose paper as opposed to hardware, probably save money too. BOL Belay my last, didn't note the intial post date/time until after posting. |
