What to pack?
This has probably been asked ad nauseum but... I'm just about to finish training and head out with my mentor. What should I pack? And once I'm done with my mentor, what's your best list to bring along in my own truck?
Thanks! The Kitten

sleeping bag or blankets w pillow. calculator, fine point pens and ruler for logbook. small notebook, at least a weeks worth of cloths including cold weather gear for below zero temps, gloves, toiletries, coffee mug and thermis, large scale truckers atlas, although spendy is worth the investment. mp3 or laptop with your music and headphones, you will want to escape the truck noise at some point, also laptop with dvds work well when hung up for the weekend. small bag for carrying cloths and toiletries in and out of truckstop-terminal showers, a book to read, heavy coat, light coat, a pair of shorts for ca and fl layovers, shower sandals, dirty laundry bag. sunglasses.
