Default What Say You.

If you are getting into the Industry and had these choices, who would you work for. Rohel, US express, USA Truck, Falcon, or Transport America, which of these companies are good, Yes I know they are all bad and yes they are all good. Any information will help. I have been pre-hired by all of them.

What say you?

P.S. I completed my school at Roadmaster, Indianapolis and am now a Class A CDL Holder. GPA was a nifty 97.5 It was the longest three weeks of hell.

Default Choices

Of the five choices you state, I'd take Roehl because you have an option of two other types of wagons (dry van, flatbed, curtainside) to pull without leaving the company if you didn't care for the first type of wagon you chose. BOL

Called them and you must have the 160 hours, which I have, and have at least 4 months OTR expierence. Then go out with a trainer for a while and are paid 500.oo week

Before you throw yourself on a dirty sword....why not look into a better job situation....like this: http://www.carrytransit.com/terminals.html

For more information.... go here: http://www.carrytransit.com/drivers.html Then go here....: http://www.carrytransit.com/drivers/about.html

On the first link, find the terminal closest to you and call the Terminal Manager and speak with him or her about "driver opportunities". Just so you know.... Baby Bullseye who checks in here now and then is a Carry Driver.

It could well be worth your time and trouble.... also, Cyanide has posted all of the pay information for Carry in his tanker threads. Both Cyanide and I work for Superior Carriers....the Chemical division of Superior Bulk Logistics, and Carry is our sister company, and owned by SBL.

Default Thanks

Checked it out and it seems very good. I do have one concern, it is no OTR expierence. They require One year to be considered for hire. Perhaps they will make exceptions. Do you know if they do?

Knock on the doors of some local compaines(ltl, beverage, foodservice, tanker) and see what happens. Some of them may hire new drivers and train them "thier way".
