Default What works best to clean 5th wheel grease??

I always watch where i'm walking, always careful when pulling my 5th wheel handle as to not get any on my clothes (ill be buying a 5th wheel puller tomorrow). I kept finding spots of grease on my hand after an hour or so driving down the road, and couldnt figure out where the heck it was coming from.

Anyways, make a long story short, i somehow got 5th wheel grease in my truck. Not alot, and got rid of the 'clump' i found, but what works best for getting any out of clothes or a cloth arm rest??

Dawn Detergent works well on oil and grease. You may also try some "Purple" cleaner. You can find it at most auto parts stores.

I use De-solv-it. You can spray it on clothes or upholstery. Works great.

You can get it other places, even online at amazon.

ROFL I actually saw a live demonstration in a mall the other day, some guy trying to imitate the guy from TV.

I second the dish detergent suggestion. No matter how careful I am, I always manage to get 5th wheel grease on my head!

The answers are there,

Optimistic and hopeful dreams,
Are all I have so it seems.
The future I do not know,
So all I can do is take it slow.
But I do know it will work out,
So I wait and watch without a doubt

is that the stuff that comes in the orange 'turtle wax' type container?? I was in Denver a while ago, and dropping my trailer (later found the sign that said 'no dropped trailers') and putting my kingpin lock on, i almost forgot to remove my hat. Didnt get any grease on me, but it would have been better to get it on my hat then possibly my hair.

thanx for the suggestions, i've got some dish detergent on the truck, ill have to try that.

any of you guys have that shamWOW towel on the truck?

Goop Multi-Purpose Hand Cleaner

You have to watch using that Orange hand cleaner on clothes, upholstery and carpets as some if it will end up bleaching the fabric.

I got a little bit of Lucas 5th wheel slider grease on my coat and before I knew it the coat was covered with it.

it started on the inside of the sleeve and as I moved it covered the whole front of the coat.

My wife laid the coat out and sprinkled baking soda on it. The baking soda worked just like oil floor dry and absorbed the grease up. She let it sit with the backing soda on it for a few days and then washed it and it all came out.
