Six hours after my P/U I was in Mississippi and it was 67 degrees. Gotta love this job. :withstupid:
I am so glad that you know how to drive on ice and take pictures at the sametime. Remind me to NEVER be on a ice or snow cover road when you are close by.

If you would care to take a look at that first picture, you will notice there is no other traffic nearby, so your safe.

By the way, your unsolicited and snide little remark annoys me, go away! Damn, I know I have that can of Raid around here somewhere.

Actually at that point it wasn't all that bad. There was enough pack that I was able to get good traction and there was sand on what hills were in the area. The hairy part was where it was just freezing rain before I got to the white stuff. Empty trailer going in to top it off.

No one was running chains, just slow and easy. It was very helpful not having to worry about 4 wheelers. I only saw a handful. That takes allot of the unexpected out of that kind of driving.

Typical Dweller answer. There was nobody on the roads because they where all smart enough to shut down and park. Even if the road is clear of others, you are still unsafe.

Here,it was supposed to be winter wonderland this weekend, but it has been above freezing. It has been raining since, last night. I think the temps are supposed to drop below freezing Sunday night, and then it will be an ice rink all around. :P

First of all, you are still annoying me, stop it or I shall taunt you.

Second, the whole point of this thread is to point out that I am THE SUPER TRUCKER. I am the one, the only king of the road. Ice and snow is merely an excuse to hammer down. Damn the torpedoes, give me an on-time delivery or give me death.

A little lame I realize, I had intended on a whitter retort, but it's late and I have a another nasty little snow storm to blow through here in Missouri and into Nebraska tomorrow. Need my sleep.

Double R, stay clear, I'll be taking pictures in a daring and reckless way!
