Will TMC take me on ?
I have a CDL with little OTR exp. I went with one of those CDL training programs ( C1 Driving out of DFW) and was driving for USA Truck. only went out with the trainer then the wifes mother passed on and I had to return to Germany ( wife is German). Everything is cleared up now and I am looking to come back to the states around mid November. I spoke with USA and they will take me back on ( didnt burn any bridges). although from what I here of wrecks, & buy outs. Etc.... I am wondering if its is a good idea to go back to them ?.
Question is would TMS take me on as a student driver ? I'm only a rookie with only trainer otr experience, and am still paying C1 $100,00 a month ( dont want to ruin my credit). and am willing to go through orentation / training ect...need it any way no matter what compamy hires me. Thanks, Ski.

I believe that you have a good chance with TMC. Hard to guarantee anything, but I think your chances are good.
One thing with the TMC web application is that there is very little room for "notes" explaining these things. I ended up faxing in a "cover letter" type thing specifically explaining my circumstances and how eager I was to work for TMC. My location was a slight problem. If you can manage it try to fill out the web application on the TMC website and send it to Matt. Then call the student recruiting number and press ext. 3 for Matt to tell him your story and that you just filled out the web app. I believe that if you completed school and can pass the TMC road test you will be all set. If you don't pass the test TMC can set you up with a refresher course. They may even pick up the payments on the $100 per month school loan. Good luck.
