What do you pull, COLT? I had to chain up yesterday for the first time, EVER. My truck is generally extrmemely good to me, Ive never even spun a wheel on snow, just on freezing rain, but there was a guy spun out (overnight!) on Army Hill, he was on the steepest part on the corner. Someone at the top told me, 'oh its good now, they gravelled it!'. Yea, they gravelled behind him and in front of him, so of course I spun out right beside him. Apperantly had I been 20 minutes earlier I woulda seen 4-5 trucks sittin on that hill. lol Didn't do to bad for my first time, 10 minute I was no longer blocking the passing lane. No one came along so I didn't hold anyone up. And of course, pictures will follow when I find my camera cable.

I've pulled every type of tanker you can think of, my preferred "weapon" for the last year has been a tractor/ tridem tanker. It's a nice change, I've done allot of tank truck/pup combinations. Sometimes I have to do the B train, super B thing, too heavy to take off road. Too much like work! I leave that to the younger guys  They still got something to prove, to themselves... Been there done that  I don't chain for the Alaska, even when I should ops: I go into the bush roads, it's hilly round here.

I've never seen those Yoop, I'm so used to trowing triples on, it's easy and in the winter, clean. Chaining in the mud, well that sucks! I've nearly spun out when empty many times on the Alaska, heavy trailers, catching up to a loaded unit on a steep hill. M.126 you know that one L.N. I came out of that road at the top, about 10 days ago, just took two sets off and started down the hwy... it's slick, gee that truck looks to be in my lane? Yep, a curtain side super b, it's a steep hill... good thing no trucks were coming up as I had to use the wrong side on the way down. Those spun out trucks in the video were chaining on their own side of the road. I don't like these guys who try my side cause there side is bad, what are they thinking? We had some wet snow a few times 2-3 weeks ago, I was pulling an empty b train wiping my feet on every little hill, M.55, 58, 59, 63, I STOPED at M.72 cause I wasn't gona make the M.78 hill. I'm talking too much ops:
