Hey, I'm an old Steve Booth fan, he used to post on this board. Had an avatar just like yours. No, no, no, Steve learned a lot about trucking in a very short time, he already knows more than I probably ever will. I remember everyone on here last year was talking all about this. I think during these 3 days last year I saw the scales closed more than usual. I always run with a legal log book at all times, and have new equiptment so there is no worries for me.

Texas was very busy yesterday at the east bound scale on I-10 just before you hit the Louisiana line. They were closed when I came by but were very busy. They were packed with trucks and they were going all over them. As soon as they finished with this group they opened the scales to bring in a fresh batch of victims. :wink:

I saw a DeBoer truck behind the scale in Joliet on 80 today. His trailer had buckled about a footdown. I don't know if he got pulled in or was already broke down and just there. Also I have seen quite a few TMC trucks around the back of scales with cops under them. That is weird.
