Default anyone know anything about Langer transport O/O program

I'm getting ready to lease on with Langer pulling tankers, I have a pump and compressor and liquid experience (not recent) but would like to hear from anyone who might know something about them first hand, any info would be greatly appreciated as I will be signing on this week. Last year I tried QC for 4 months and do not want to make another mistake like that.

66% of gross which I know doesn't tell you much, but a buck a mile plus fuel sur-charge gauranteed for dead head. The terminal mngr. said they avg. $1.30 before fuel.

I haven't ran across any Langer drivers to ask, they always seem to be going the other way--- and I'm new here,(CAD) hopefully one of the other tanker O/O or drivers may have heard something they might pass on. I'm not new to trucking, I,ve been running on my own auth. for 12 years except for 4 months last year and did tanker work before that for 5 years. I asked all the questions that were important but would like to hear from another scource besides Langer.

I have a few friends that are there, can't get straight answers out of them.

They are making money, but a lot of "funny money"

Certain loads pay 2 different ways, 1 when you come back empty and another when you come back loaded, can't figure out their surcharge either.

Thee is a guy on this board, nsx2001 or something like that that also just started there.

Personally speaking for myself, you would never see their name on my truck......NEVER

Just noticed you are from SC, the Dana/Suttles terminal in Charlotte is overrun with drivers, seems the terminal manager is trying to prove he has the biggest terminal, even though he doesn't have the work for all those trucks.

I am with Dana, and I stay away from that terminal, I suggest you do too.

I talked with the Dana terminal mngr. in Greenville,SC about 3 weeks ago and he didn't sound to sharp so I veered away from that option. The answer you got from the drivers you talked to is kind of like the one I got from Langer, no real solid numbers but the overall est. numbers seemed ok. I do appreciate you going thru the trouble of finding out what you could Maniac--thanks

Hey Rookie

I Never worked for Langer but I did apply there. like maniac said you can't really get straight answers out of them. I decided to lease to Enterprise Transportation Company out of Rahway. I was there for 5 months I left because the rates are very low but i was told that before I leased on. they was the only company that would take me no tank experience.. I'm currently doing flatbed northeast only and very happy so far I'm spending alot more time home or near my house..

Good Luck!
