While I respect everyone's gonads for taking a stand on everything from animal rights to gay weddings,.....I fail to see what driving slow (slower than 55mph) will do to help this,...if dollar a mile freight still gets loaded onto trucks.

Come on Fuzzy, if you truly own a big truck or even a car, doesn't piss you off that you are paying this current amount for fuel.

Why should I care if the gay animals have the right to marry? I thought we were talking about high fuel prices.

It's slightly irritating, but this half fast strike is doing absolutely nothing to fuel or gas prices. The people being targeted do not control the price nor consumption of fuel.

Fuel may be higher, but look how cheap computers, Plasma tv's etc are compared to when fuel was cheap. You can also buy houses for 40-50-% less than when fuel was cheap.

The reason fuel prices are rising is due to DEMAND exceeding SUPPLY.

Stop buying Chinese junk.
Then there will be fewer trucks on the road burning diesel and..... OH WAIT!
What line of work are we in?!?!!?!

Yep, and as soon as the bottom feeders are cleared out and Dick and Jane Doe figure out to park or sell their 6 mpg SUV and buy something fuel efficient, demand will drop and so will prices. Give it a year...this country is going to learn a difficult lesson, one long overdue.
