This one is just point style:
Maintenance tips from unit 400: - Haldex LifeSeal brake chambers have a completely sealed spring brake, and won't rust out and break like other units. They even come with a 6 year warranty - Air dryers should be serviced at least every 2 years, I put in a complete rebuild - Power steering fluid and filter should be changed once a year - I've found Chevron RPM Arctic to be the best grease for landing gears, and it is also an excellent winter 5th wheel grease - Learn how to check and adjust your ride height. Your back and u-joints will thank you. - Chevron red ELC coolant has a service life of 8 years/750,000 miles or 1,000,000 miles with an extender at 500,000 miles - When greasing, take the clutch plate off and apply grease directly to the fingers that make contact with the release bearing - If it is a hydraulic linkage you will have to push the fingers away from the release bearing since there is no gap - Recommended intervals for Eaton or Meritor drive axles and Eaton transmissions is 500,000 miles (800,000 KM's) with an approved synthetic lubricant - The jug of the lubricant must have the following specifications printed on them to be approved for extended drains: - Eaton transmission "PS 164 REV 7" - Eaton drive axle "SHAES 256 REV C" - Meritor drive axle "076-N" |
