That number doesn't come up in FMCSA website. Here's a link for them.

That's them. They operate under multiple mc#s. I've only used a handfull of times for very short(less than 100 mile) loads in NJ/PA. They seem to think that if you pu one day and drop the next then 300-350 is great pay on less than 100 miles.

Ok, thanks Chris. I spoke with one of there agents the other day and he was a little too persistent right off the bat, which usually throws a red flag for me.

Well, I saved the link and the guys name. Never know. Right now I don't meet there criteria anyway since I don't have a central dispatch and am just shy of a year in business. They also require a two truck minimum. I only have one at this time.

Isn't there two different "Bear Transportation" brokerages? One with a trucvk fleet and one without?

The "Bear" we dealt with, back in 03-+05, had some good rates, and some poor rates, but they always paid in 15 days, which was good.

Exclamation

Rosty...I do not know how they are now, but this operation used to have really good rates, for flatbed. We used to get good stuff from them, even out of Idaho, which is generally a pit, when it comes to good rates.

New Market Transportation

Back in 03-05, their biggest accounts where companies that manufacture store rack systems.

Worth checking anyway...if you haven't already.
