OOIDA sent me something that sounds similar but I can't remember the name of the card. Same deal?

are there any other ,,hidden''fees involved, am gonna sign up right now..
You pay a $4.95 fee per room per night on top of the room rate, plus all applicable taxes for the hotel room. CLC can give you the rate right over the phone, and can even make the reservation for you. You don't pay anything at the hotel - CLC is the one who is billed, and they charge it to your credit card.

Tonight, I'm in another hotel. This one had a rate of $59, but I paid $37.50.

I used CLC on my vacation while the truck was in the shop. I added my son in law to my account, had no problems getting rooms even though it was not "business use'". Been with them several years and no mistakes, except the room in NC that I never got billed for. Several escort drivers I use have CLC. If you use motels they are a good way to save money.

They sure do.

Spent the night in a hotel last night again. A nice little place just east of Little Rock. $29.99 plus tax.

At rates like this, it's hard not to get a hotel room. After all, idling the truck (if my AC were working - which it will be by next week), it would cost me more to idle than this hotel room cost me. Plus, this way I get a shower, HBO, and a bigger bed. Even if I had my APU up and running, it would only cost about $15 more to stay in a hotel. At current fuel prices, it just makes sense.

OOIDA has the CheckInn card. I don't remember paying a fee for the card, but I have had it for a while. I have used it a few times and it really saves a lot of money. They charge it to your credit card when you use the card. The rate I have paid is less than the regular corporate rate. There is a fee each time you use the card in addition to the hotel or motel charges. Even with the fee it is still less expensive than idling all night. Perhaps I need to get rid of my sleeper trucks, buy day cabs and get motel rooms. :P
