Riiiight. Bedbugger math.
Why do you doubt my linehaul? 3000 for the car, 3000 for 1900lbs, 7800 for 8800lbs, 4800 on 5200lbs, and 7200 for 7300 lbs. Oops, it was over 25,000  You obviously did NOT do international with Gerbil. Us to Canada, not domestic.

Bedbugger Math? My 133K was on 50K miles doing Speccom ONLY. I checked last week. I've done one water to water speccom and finished the hhg run from the east coast to Canada, so add that. Plus what I did in a month in a half at Corrigan United before my agent now, somewhere to the tune of 25,000 in revenue- but that was strictly hhg, so net is different.

On my day off at home last week I bought a GMC Typhoon...cash. Yep. I'm hurtin

Yep, this year will be decent.

No, I just know what numbers you are using to come up with it. I guess if I were to use the same numbers you are, I could say that I had a $500,000 year during my best year with Graebel.

It's no different than LS guys who use gross numbers to state their rate per mile rather than what the truck actually earns. No carrier paid you $3000 to the truck to haul a car, and you know it.

And yes, I've hauled international HHG, and know what they pay.

I did HHG for United last week, all I have to say is some companies waste a lot of money moving their exec's and their toys. You forgot to add in your tip's.

I got $3,200 to haul a car in one of my LTL runs the other month. It was $1.00 per mile on 3200 miles. I just tried to get another LTL for a wrecked Toyota but was beat out at $.80 cents per mile.

Thats why I said linehaul, something the Rev can relate to doing hhg and as I stated in my HHG agian thread about the breakdown of charges.

Nobody paid me 3000 to haul a car. You replied "uh huh" and the context I gathered was that you doubted the linehaul of the trip. Maybe I took my crazy pills today. I got 55% of that, lus a 36% FSC. Now, if I said I had a load paying 25,000, that would be different. Some hhg guys say "its paying X amount", which isn't truck money. I'd say I got about 18,000 to the truck, give or take (probably give )

I'm still confused how grossing over half of my anticipated 250K gross is "bedbugger math". I won't lose sleep though. If you did 500K in linehaul at Graebel last year, you'd probably still be there

I'm coming for you steve! Like stealth! By the time you see me, it will be too late!

I'm afraid your right. I'm not too observant when on the road.

I'm stuck at home for the weekend because I didn't take that long haul to CA for $1.83 per mile and held out for $1.90. Me thinks me Fu**** up. So I'm at home for 3 days making nothing all at a cost for wanting $210 more for a 3,000 mile run. I may rethink a few things.

I got millions of calls from brokers over the past few days but none willing to budge on rates and most offering $1.60 to $1.70. Seems they have all adjusted to the lower fuel costs.

So looks like I'll be fixing and doing stuff on my truck that really isn't important and just plain sucks to fix and work on. I may bring my truck over to the car wash and have them steam clean the tractor frame, engine and underneath. Scrap some of the rust bubbles off and paint. Stuff like that.

Steve, tell the brokers we have lost 46,000 more trucks in the second quarter, and the total is now about 88,000 for the year on trucks out of business. 4% nationwide. That's a big number. Lay it on them.

On another subject, I am looking for a 36" used sleeper for my truck. Anybody?? My short runs are getting a little bit longer. Flat top.
