Off to Las Vegas about 350 miles away and I'll shut down there. Time for laundry, shower and clean the truck which I should have done a few days ago while I was sitting waiting for a load. That's the part that sucks. That phone call could come at any minute and if your inside doing laundry with no signal or a shower, they move on to someone else. You come back to your truck to find 3 missed calls.

I'm pretty sure I have a long LTL heading all the way back home for $1.35 per mile, it's light and takes up about 20' of deck. This is the key in my opinion to a good paying load. Get a long run with your first LTL then do the postman thing all the way back. I noticed two other loads heading back to NH also and if I could get them both that would be over $3.00 for the whole trip.
doing stuff nobody else wanted to do.

A corn head is one of those good 'ol boys with 2 teeth and sides that hang over his Levi's that runs thru the fields drinking Bud and farting and throwing ears into the wagon... No wait...that sounds like a cottonpicker..

These corn heads are yella I tell ya, yella.
Well, that's better. Stopped at the Race Track Petro in Vegas, had breakfast and a nap. Time for coffee then laundry and stuff. They have the same F'***ing broken toaster for a year now. It only toasts on one side then you need to flip the bread around. Don't tell Rusty I was eating bread. I couldn't take it anymore plus I looked in the mirror and I'm like Tarzan or Pee Wee Herman. Not sure but man, I look good!! Some girls wanted to know if I wanted some company after breakfast so I'm doing something right. It's 9am here in Vegas and 90 out already. Looks like Mr. Rigmaster will be running until tomorrow morning. They have Idle Air here so it should be interesting how many trucks will be running their engines also by mid day. I've found that Idle Air doesn't come close to cooling your cab on a 100 degree day.

Too hot to walk around looking at stupid rabbits on a ranch. I've seen, killed and eaten plenty in my life.
When I was a teenager I had one whole wall of my bedroom covered in rabbit skins. When I went to college my parents said I couldn't come home after so they turned my room into a sewing room. Boy was my dad pissed when he realized the furs were part of the wall because I didn't tan them at all. He had to replace the sheet rock. When I got out of college I immediately got my own apartment. I don't think my mother stopped crying for a week. I can't come home huh, well I showed ya.

Watch the bread there Stevie, you will gain what you lost and then some by
introducing those bad carbs back into your diet. Been there done that. Try whole grain bread or better yet whole wheat wraps. I can look at a loaf of bread and the next thing I know it appears on my ass. Magical I tell ya.

lol.....I don't have an ass, it's disappearing so that may be a good thing.
I'm 6'0" and 205 and been that for a long time. I have a large frame and broad shoulders. My weight has stayed the same but a lot of my body is retiring to my stomach for some reason. I'm going too build a weight bench when I get home to hook to the bumper of my trailer. Should be simple. I miss going to the gym when I had a normal job.

That sounds like a plan. Should be simple to set up and take down. There is
a guy that posts on Cad, Cyanide I think, has a gym membership with golds gym. He seems to find time to work out while on the road, depending on what city he is in. Seems like it works for him. I don't think I am that motivated. :| |
