Thanks for the pic STeve, I get it now. I didn't realize it was mounted in the frame. Cool idea....might have to get something like that.

Can you walk on it like a cat walk?

Yup, it's very sturdy. The mounting hardware was way overkill too. If I can remember I'll take my camera down and take a picture this afternoon. After my nap of course.

Just came back from IRP and registering my truck and trailer and $1,100 bucks lighter.

I just spent over $1,400 to renew mine. I think I need to move to New Hampshire.

Did you buy the same thing I have that goes in the well of the cat walk?

You can move to NH if you like but we don't have rotary dial phones anymore and everyone has GPS in there trucks and I'm sure you will want to fit in like the rest of us.

I just have the aluminum cat walk on my trucks. Oh man, you mean that I may have to adjust to technology if I move to NH? NO ROTARY PHONES? We are supposed to be getting those soon. I will miss my tin can and string.

Something else you may be interested that we have in New Hampshire. Most garages will install an electric motor to your engine and connect it to a battery. You actually push a button to start your engine. No more getting out on a cold morning to crank that handle.

You mean New Hampshire has improved that much? Heck When I was there in 1993-1996 We had to go out on the back stoop and yell house to house to make a call. Did not even have string and tin can...
