From desk to own authority part 2

I feel like Jeremiah Johnson. I may go walk outside for 15 seconds or less so I can experience what mountain men really went through in the old days. Oh wait, never mind, Mr. Coffee just finished. I'll stick my head out the window instead.

My trailer is a 10' fixed spread so I'm assuming I can be 20k right across the boards
My trailer is on right now and it reads 15. I've seen it go as high was 55 to 60. Don't know how to interpret it though.
Made it to the customer site OK and it's just like the satellite image from Google.
I'm only less than 900 miles from home but I have a feeling it's going to take me the rest of the week to get there. I understand I'll be following the storm all the way home.
 I called about a PO load today because I'm looking to bring a new trailer home.....$1/mile. Yeah, right stop wasting my time. And they've got 240 of these trailers to move apparently. http://www.intellicast.com/IcastPage...y&prodnav=none

maps.google.com
Enter a location (including an address), then click Satellite at right. If the area is something!?!?, then you'll have high res images. Check New York City, then zoom in all the way. Other areas you can only go one notch lower than full zoom.

Hey Steve...like Tootie said...the more you tarp, the better you become.
Question on your tarps. How many rows of "D" rings do you have, and what are their spacings? On the 8' drops I've got sitting out back I have a row right at the bottom edge, then 3 rows, each 2 feet apart. Do you roll your extra hang under or do you just stack it? I always found rolling it kept the pillowing down. I also found that using Rubber rope with sliding hooks, along with individual bungees, help speed up the tarping process. Just some thoughts. :moose:

Regarding the weather topic earlier, I don't usully post from another board, but in this case I thought I'd make an exception.

Tootie,
48' step, 53' step, two 53' non detachable double drops but unfortunately, no RGN's. Been looking for a deal on a tandem 53' though.

When you tarp your load tuck up the bottom

Putting your straps over on the outside of the tarp can also keep some of the air out and hold it down. Try to make sure to close the front and back and use plenty of bungee's.
