Good job, I know you can do it.. When I was younger and came home in the middle of the night, after going out for a few, that guy would be painting on TV all the time. It was like the twilight zone.

On another note Steve. You said you were thinking about some short loads around home. I do a good amount of work here in New England. I do mostly 150 mile loads and less. They pay very good if you pick the right ones. You can rent a Van trailer and stay around your area as long as you like. When your ready, just return the trailer and hit the road again. Just an idea for you. I say rent a van because there is so many Van loads available.
His name was Bob Ross.... watching his painting shows on PBS were hypnotic,

Slower traffic keep right, is that what they tell you when your out on that half of a Harley....lol. That's what that sportster is anyway.Well I should be nice and be civil, wait I was being nice...lol!!!! I'm sorry I must have hung that Half rigidsporty Christ...lol You really need to upgrade that THING...lol

I'm done now...lol
Well if you ran out of fact and have to resort to personal attacks that's fine... but my "half Harley" is a HAND BUILT half Harley, not a store bought, anyone with a bank account can get, lets not forget the all-leather-uniform including the chaps in 90 degree weather and fingerless "absolutely useless" gloves accessories Harley. Yup its a half Harley cause I... unlike some some self-proclaimed savior I wont mention... am not a rich boy with money to throw around at any popular bandwagon I feel might relieve me of my current mid-life crisis. Oh yea... sorry... I forgot to add "lol" every other sentence.

Sorry TW... he pissed me off.

Ssoutlaw... you may continue with your Steve worship.
I was not personally attacking you at all, it was all in the same fun you give Steve. It sounds like you have heard the same ribbing about the half Harley before. If I was attacking you there would be no ...lol seeing as how we are not face to face this lets you know it was on a lighter side. Sorry if you cant take the ribbing..

Yes I do and I have it printed it and keep it in my binder with all my other paper work. It was a good read and I practice what he preaches every time I head down a steep grade.

I don't have the years of experience but I can bet it's one of the most classic scenerios truckers get caught up in and then, well, it's too late.

Not bad, but part one was better, Steve. :P

Yup, I'm afraid the next few days driving to CT then home will be quit boring compared to my first trip. I'll probably spend a week or 2 at home, do taxes, clean truck, PM and pig out on hot Chinese food.

When I go out next time I'm going to be more prepared so that I can stay out longer and try and hit Wyoming, Montana and that neck of the woods. I need to see what has to be done to also start running in Canada which isn't far from NH.

I'm sitting at a rest stop about 150 miles from where I started this morning having coffee of course. I'm in a spot looking over Las Cruces New Mexico and the lights are just amazing from below. It's like the whole city is at the same level as far as the lights go. I'm going to snap a picture with my camera and see if it comes out and I'll post it.

Yeah, I love the city lights at night from the dark at a distance. 8)

Gonna take some of my $5/mile freight are you?
I knew you were too smart to leave that money on the table for long.

Just remember...NOTHING UNDER $2!
