I get better mileage with my 370/410 M11 Cummins with the cruise off.

thats what i kinda figured. i drove a truck today (98 single axle volvo sleeper) at 75 according to the computer 7.5mpg.. loaded! (s60 365 with a rockwell 10 speed and 2.92 gears). i also drove a 2000 single axle fld with a s60 370/430hp fuller 9 speed with 3.58 gears. the motor was real jumpy and touchy not smooth like the volvo.. its weird. any major diffrences in the motors? i'm looking at a 2000 volvo tandem, fuller 10 speed s60 430/470 3.58 gears.
