I liked the Mack Vision when they had the 86" sleeper back in 2000, but not much exciting after that.

I like Mack trucks for DUMP TRUCKS. Cant get no better then a mack. Never did the OTR thing so cant say much on that. But 1 time i did drive a vision and i thought it was a real nice truck. Another thing i like about MACK is its a all mack truck motor trannny rears etc.

Mackman what is going on with the current Mack engine? I heard it is just a re-branded Volvo engine?

Did Volvo screw that one up too?

well kinda. When i was down the mack dealer they said they took the best off the mack motor and the best off the volvo and put them together. The tech said it was going to be a good motor. I have a 427 in my grantie and so far thats been one hell of a motor.

That new MP8 motor they are offering sounds like one heck of a good motor. I like to see Mack offering some big horse motors again like they did in the good ole days.

no motor will ever be like the E-9 V-8 500hp. that motor went down in the history books. the MP8 i think you can get up to 485hp.

Mack is coming out with a new truck called the TITAN (for the U.S.) it can have up to a 600hp motor MP10. So it looks like mack has something in the works.

I work on them every day. so I must like them at least a little bit :?

Once the bugs are worked out of the new MP series engines, they will be damn good

The torque range is rediculous 8)
