Dhouse; Ive been stuck there a few times, and liked sitting out behind the hotels in Marana, 9 miles west on 10 and the south side of the hiway. You'll see the exit. Its quiet, clean, safe, and 6 restaurants within walking distance. Forget the exit name, but easy to see the cluster of hotel signs.
Sorry Im not much help getting you a load. I would think like GMan though, if you get anything going west, take it, and you will get out of so.cal faster than Tucson going east, i'd imagine.

Both Ca. and Az are very slow for flatbeds right now it seems. One guy was sitting in Ca. for a week waiting for better rates. Not sure exactly how the produce is moving around there though since I haven't been in that area in 2 months now.

DD seems we are slow in general right now. Manufacturing & steel is off, cars is slow... Only real busy thing coming up soon in my neck of the state is the orange harvest in a few weeks.

One way or another, I'm going to the East coast by the end of the week. If I don't get somthing by Monday afternoon,......I'm outta here!!
Maybe I can pick up 400 cases of Coors beer in Texarkana,.....I hear they're dry in Atlanta.

My flappers are the kind that just lift out of a small square bracket. They lift out in seconds,...unless you krimp an S hook in the little hole,..which I did this time,..but come on,..who needed my old cut short flappers  This TTT truckstop in Tucson has to be one of the worst I've seen,..the parking is pure dust!! |
