Those topics, never end good! I did well on a gross side this year, except the last few weeks.
I'm home, in Edison, since 12/12....

I have put my numbers on here. All you have to do is multiply to get a total. I took a week off in Aug to go to the Bristol race I was down 2 weeks in Nov while my truck was in the body shop getting fixed from hitting a deer.. Took the last 2 weeks of Dec off.
Don't forget Rev you advised me in a prior post to never post numbers because everyone will call you a liar no matter what you post. I did do a quick tally of my settlement sheets and it totaled $113K of revenue since I started on the last week of July. The numbers you have listed in the past are truckers math if you ask me,by posting a photocopy of the 1099 you can shut me up.

You finally got something right.........It won't happen, no need to go through 14 pages of being called a liar.
We do have a trailer open if you think you can run hard enough to make those numbers. I doubt you could stay off here long enough to make any money. RE: The log book post on another thread. 496 miles a day?? What do you do after dinner, go to bed??

He was in a magazine article about load securment. He basicly said to always oversecure, drive slow so you don't sling the load off the trailor and to save fuel, and that if he had a problem/question, he would usually stop by an open weigh station and ask someone inside. Can't remember which mag it was but pretty sure it wasn't Landline. Think it may have been Trucker's News.

This is due to the fact you cannot prove your bull**** numbers, and that makes you a liar.

Revs Quote: I remember a few years ago I posted my 1099, and heard everything from "it's clearly a fake" to "you photoshopped it". The fact of the matter is, if you can't take someone calling you a liar, then your best bet is to not put yourself into a situation where they will. Posting numbers is always a touchy subject - not only because nobody else knows whether they are real, but because nobody knows what is needed to create those numbers So I will take Revs advise because you wouldn't believe me anyway. I know what I make and I have posted my check stubs twice to validate what I quoted and if that isn't good enough you can KMA. |
