Wow! Is that a team operation? Are you leased? In any case, you are running dirt cheap. Should reconsider your strategy.

just for fun, I broke it down, total miles were 57,000. loaded miles were 31885, that comes out to $1.90 a loaded mile. that is enough for me, since I really like what I am doing. When all is said and done, my bills are paid and I have plenty of money left over, so that's all that really matters.
and when other guys are sitting because "things are slow right now" I am still going strong

If I post my numbers, all hell would break out.

But I will say I've done over $2/mi, but I won't say how close to $3/mi I came!

Your rate per mile is really not the question at hand. My first year doing HHG, I was averaging $4.50 per mile, and that was low.

I have done a handful of HHG loads this year. The rest is just pulling a van around. I'm not sure what your point was.

You are in a niche market. Your rate per mile isn't as important as your overall revenue after unusual expenses.

Haven't had too many unusual expenses. Had to pay to park a handful of times at McCormick place and bought a bunch of ratchet straps. Nothing too crazy. I did over 107K miles in '08.
