Default Favorite Rest Stop

Hi Everyone-

I'm compiling a list of the best rest stops for truckers in the US. What's your favorite and why?

Thanks,

Rachael

Ohio Turnpike rest stops…. if only there wasn't a cop every 10 miles.
Dysart's in Bangor, Maine. Was there in the winter a few times. Best "anything warm."
Porky's, Hamer, S.C. -lots of goings on, and good food.
Charley's Country Corner, Grayling, Mi.- last civilized outpost, before entering Canada.
Tartuga, …. me thinks…. Yarr that be me home, sez aye. Arrrh HARR harrr… where be the wimmin?

Hobo, I've seen you parked at Lions Club in Happy Valley, Mo.
Also, at the Walmart, Dollar General, Pickle Park, abandoned Chicken Coops, you are always at the Pilot, or the TA's, and you like to park on the highway rest stop ramp.

One of my often little known rest stops, is on the toll roads, where you cross into another state…
I like to pull over after you pass through the toll booth, and park on the side there, to get both my log books caught up.
I'm assuming that's what everyone else does too, that park there.

Guilty as charged... except for the Lions Club. (Lions Den?) Why would I want to stop and look at a bunch of LIONS???
