I never thought I would like paying payments, but I did have a money pit.
My thoughts exactly, with no payments, comes repair bills down time and extra tax obligations.I have done it both ways and really I prefer a newer (nicer) truck with payments and more running time. Can a newer truck break down? Of course but in the same time frame an older truck will be down more than a newer one, imo.
Mine too. Over $7,000 in repairs the last 3 weeks. Biggest repair was the clutch..but wheel seal, brake pads & a drum, new batteries, a new fan clutch & A/C compressor. Friggin tow bills and road calls can kill you. Only good news about the entire ordeal...the clutch that went out had over 645,000 miles on it.
