My numbers for 2007 is slightly better than yours, but slightly worse this year, but in general, it's pretty close... 8)
I believe your fuel milage is a whole gallon higher then mine?

Anyone wanna buy some old hoods? Dangit. My fuel is at 46% - that's a company average with 3 trucks.

Ok I am new to all this and just looked at my last weeks statement from the company I am leased on with.

I had revenue of $5950 and my fuel advances were $1498.03

Isn't that 25%??

Or do I take off the company commission and divide?? Then we have 5950-1100= 4850

Still 30%??

oops...had to redo my formula for ya...had it bassackwards.

Total fuel bill divided by the total of all money paid TO THE TRUCK. This should give you an accurate number.

You do need to be sure that your tanks are at the same level, especially on a short term like this.

If 30% holds up over time, your doing something right...either good mpg's or a decent rate. I thought some of these independants would get down in the mid 20's, but so far I haven't got any of those responses. Of course the cheating devils could be holdin out on us

Forgot to add I pull a 53' dry van. I load in Des Moines and deliver in Los Angeles and unload and reload back to Des Moines from the same place.

I believe, there is something wrong with those numbers, unless you drive a small truck, or pickup.
$1498 it's about 320 gallons, at the current prices. Round trip Des Monies to LA probably close to 3500 miles.... So, either you are getting 11mpg, or....

You are right Solo give me a big DUH lol

Just went through my receipts and the other tickets hadn't come in yet. The $1498 was one way, so the actual amount wasn't on my settlement. I can make it out and back on 4 fuel stops and have over 1/2 left when I get back.
