I attended Juilliard... I'm a graduate of the Harvard business school. I travel quite extensively. I lived through the Black Plague and had a pretty good time during that.

If you have a beef with a specific piece of advice that is given, dispute that, no problem. To come here and try to trash the integrity of someone, and in a disruptive way, especially after stating those very intentions, will get you on a VERY short leash.

While my posts are not the topic I will enlighten you. I have to spend much of my VERY LIMITED time here dealing with the running of the message board. Too much of that time is spent having to have to deal with asshats. I do try to weigh in when I can but my limited experience in trucking compared to others allows me very little to add that would be helpful. I guess that is why I have sat and wondered so many times why you choose to hinder instead of help. You have a lot of knowledge to share but you refuse to and even go out of your way to cause problems. What a waste!

Maybe this is where the problem lies. You look at this site as a playground for your own entertainment and your idea of entertainment consists of disrupting an informative thread and causing good information to be lost in the ensuing chaos. There are many other sites out there where you can do this and I invite you to go there because this is NOT one of those sites. Believe it or not this board is not "make believe". These are real people ( except the few like yourself ) with real problems, real questions that want real answers, and there are real people here with real answers that try to help. Am I going to let you disrupt that process? NO! Not as long as I am charged with moderating this board. That may end tomorrow, and I'm fine with that, but you won't do it on my watch.

Fine Ridge lets look at it this way. I am a new O/O looking to start running on my own Authrity. I have a well Devolped Business plan and want some decent advice. I have 2 sources one is Gman who I find out later has had his Auth REVOCKED multiple times by the FMCSA and the other is someone that has NEVER HAD THEIRS REVOCKED. Who do you think I am going to follow since one even the Goverment will not trust to meet their MINUMUM STANDARDS and the other EXCEEDS the Standards and has never had an issue with the FMCSA. Now who would you trust more. Considering that all your life savings are tied up in your equipment and you know from reading that 80% of all new companies FAIL.

 

GMAN gives sound advice, and he also has a lot of experience, and knowledge. I'd be interested to find out when he started trucking, but I wouldn't dare ask.

 

I would put more trust in the man that did not try to claim the ping pong ball story as his own and was smart enough to engage the spell check feature.

 

Threats to a member from a modulator in a public forum..... I wonder how Internet Brands feels about this ??

If you are trusting your life savings to advice you receive on a internet message board, you should probably just buy gold instead of a truck.

 

Scott I will put it to you this way if I was ever able to get my CDL back and it will NEVER happen since I have Epilepsy and the State of IL pulled my Regular class D for a Chirstmas Present. I would trust Big Diesel or even a Lease OP for CR England before putting my trust in GMAN.
