Here's a story that will warm your heart.
Florida football team awarded custody of abused child Tallahassee Democrat 10/25/2006 This afternoon a local boy that has been in and out of foster care after allegations of child abuse in his family was finally given a home. The 10 year old boy, whose parents are divorced, had reported his father to social services for repeatedly beating him. Physical evidence proved that the child had been hit on several occasions in an overly aggressive manner. The judge presiding over the case that has carried on for over two months originally ruled that the mother would be granted custody of the boy, but he told the judge that she beat him as well. Following Florida custody code to keep children in the same family tree the judge decided he would then award custody to the boys aunt. But he then told the judge that his aunt beat him as well, sometimes worse than his parents. Advisors then suggested to the judge that he be awarded to the boys grandparents. But again the boy told the judge that his grandparents beat him as well, and that he did not want to live with anyone in his family because they all hit him. The Department of Social Work earlier this week verified that there was evidence that abuse was rampant throughout the entire family, and no adult in the family would be a suitable guardian. Finally, today the boy was given a home. The Tallahassee judge ruled that custody of the boy would be given to the Florida State Seminoles football team, because after several sources were checked, it was verified that FSU was not capable of beating anyone.

Well... Currently in Jackson, GA on my way to FL. I'll be there this afternoon. Company there pays on PRACTICAL MILES, and picks up most of the tab. Fuel is about the only deduction. They'll also give me about 3,000 miles/week. But, while the owners and their brothers and sisters are into trucks, they are buying NEW trucks. They SELL the used trucks, not buy them. I don't think they'll be interested in mine.
