What I have told you is the way things are now. I am the dispatcher and as so I have to send in an Excel spread sheet daily with the drivers gross earnings for the day, I think I know what they make.

We have not ran an ad in the paper since I've been there so get your facts straight on that too.

Don't accuse me of high jacking your thread when I am directly responding to what you posted, not going off on a tangent. You posted information about the company that I work at that just isn't true today and that needs to be made clear.

Furthermore, don't tell me that I don't know my numbers. Why should the drivers buy up when the trucks they are driving are doing the job just fine. Like I said, usually only 150 to 200 miles per day. Do you know what GM pays per vehicle for a local run? $32 for a car and $40.90 for a truck. 4 pick ups and 1 car is $195.60, they usually do 4 of these a day. The brand new car haulers that I see coming into the yard from Boydstun seem to be running around 240k to 260k.

maybe I jumped the gun I thought you were dave. I was there the month his dad died. he must of left right after I was there. I did have BIG problems with him and I'm sure if you speak to someone that was there at the time you will find out the AG did look in to it but couldnt do anything since I signed that paper that said I was in training and not getting paid. Thats what happened and I'm sure if you call the ag and ask they probaly still have the fill on hand some were.

I will not acuse you of hijacking and end this here now. The comments I made were the truth and I have the Attorney General to prove it. And anybody that looks in to will find that a complaint was made to the Unemployment office also about Dave or David what ever his name was. What the truth is now I don't know since I stay away from you guys. So I will not comment on that now but when I was there is was NOT FAIR.

MAybe I was wrong on the pricce of a new car hauler but 70 k for a million mile truck, that was sold by gordon and converted to a car hauler and the rails are so bent you are affarid to drop a car, is ALOT of money PERIOD. You can't even say there not and you work there. The price is outragous and you know it now that you work there. And you worked for gordon and know what the deal is with there trucks and haow many miles are on them. so don't say 70k for a cj&m car hauler is a great deal. Please.

No I don't know what GM pays. I know what CJ&M don't pay though. LOL And they don't pay drivers.
As for the add in the paper. I will dig up some dirt and see what I find and If I do find out you posted an add in the paper I will post a pick of it and the date or the link if not I have nothing to stand on so I'll not say anything but for the longest time you have a add in the paper every week and you know it. But it must have been before dave left.

You are the one who deleted your original post, I did not ask that of you nor did anyone else. You are the one who said you were moving off this forum, nobody asked you to. That's what I meant about being challenged.

As for the Freightliner, sorry if you took offense but I really am wondering what you will do with it as most, not all, most shippers want to know that the freight is going to get there and to many that means knowing the truck is newer and maybe even under factory warranty. This has been my experience working in brokerage

i did becuase i dont know who im dealing with. if you are dave and not saying it you probaly still have my personal info and can really cause me problems and i dont need that. I would rather avoid discussions like this since i gain nothing from them. so i guess i did fold if you look at it that way.

I will put my truck agianst most trucks you have in your fleet. I will take it to fl and do a vis inspection and a dyno test and it will hold up better then most newer trucks. just for the record most of it is new when you lift the hood you can see that. I see your trucks all day and its the same freaking flat tops with the ratty azz trailer. so dont worry about my freight shaker i'll be fine. thanks for the concern.

And an older truck has to do with this how? To be honest, some older trucks are more reliable then newer trucks. The bugs are worked out. My dad's freightshaker(it's a 92) is more reliable then most newer trucks I know about.

My point is, regardless of how nice the truck runs, when you are just starting out shippers discriminate according to outward appearance. Especially when it is a one man show and not a larger company with the resources to re-power a load if a truck fails. This is my opinion based on 23 years in the industry and some time spent working for a truck brokerage.
