Help putting a price tag on a trailer i will be selling
Well i am soon going to be selling a trailer. an would like some insight on to what it is worth,
Info on trailer. 1998 trail king lcs series, 53 foot step 11 upper 42 bottom, Sliding rear tandems, CA Legal, 60 To 10. spread New air lines on the slider, New outside aluminum Rims, 3 new tires, All LED's, New drums, new shoes, new seals and bearings, new bushings new hub caps and gaskets, 1 new S cam, 2 new air bags with one spare, New wood deck Rough sawed lumber, Skid seats for 20 k 8' ramps, Ramps can go with if somebody wanted them there the Ramps and load leveler kind, The trailer is set up with an air raise lower kit and dump valves all new. About 23 sliding winches, OD lighting on right and left side and rear of trailer flag holders on rear, full length Dot bumper. 16" king pin I am selling this trailer because i don't need it anymore and well i got bored because there ain't nothing left for me to fix on it. I originally bought it to haul some water cooling towers out of Tulsa OK to Smyrna Ga But the Contract fell through, So i rebuilt any thing that could be wrong or could go bad. It could use paint on the rail sides other then that it will DOT Anywhere. I will be picking up a 48 step after this one Go's to a new owner or i trade it off. What is something like this worth To a working person???? Where can i sell it for the best money East coast??? And well what is the best way to get the most out of it???? Farmer maybe for hay hauling ??? much appreciated for any help Superfly

Why sell this one if your going to pull a stepdeck anyway?? It is the perfect length for hauling the odd container. The extra deck length on the bottom also works well when loading multiple pieces of equipment, and being a TrailKing, it is a bit more durable than most of the other's.
A new 53 foot Transcraft or Fontain Combo is averaging $34,000 on the qoutes I have been getting...being a 98 model I bet your's would average around $22,500 or so. You can pick up a 98 Transcraft for about $15,500 if you look hard enough, average for 98's are about $18,500...from what I have called on in truckpaper. West Coast would be the highest paying Market also. IMHO :moose:

Also i will get some pics of the trailer today. Mind you it is dirty from hauling hay and needs a bath plus it is only going to be 22 below 0 today so it will have to wait till i go south for a bath. Superfly
