I believe it's only at a particular dealer. I've shopped for my all over the country, and got the best deal at Liberty KW. They were in Chester, PA tho i've heard they moved to Jersey....

Right now we around $153,000 with Fet. for a Pete 389 the KW would be $144,000 plus Fet. which puts it around $161,000 plus $10,000 worth of options that the Pete dealer is willing to cover half of on the 389.

Oh and probably the main reason for buying a Pete is because that what the boss want's. Even though he will never emit to it.
Consider a T800 glider. Will save you the FET as well. An older c15 or c16 would be great for this application. Plus you save weight and frame rail space.

this is true. and kenworth just released a few weeks ago they're starting to do gliders. i love my c15 but for his application (and in a glider) why not go with a signature 600 cummins?

Well we talked about a glider kit with a possibly a C16 Cat and, it will be something we seriously consider.

Also the boss wants a Pete so another truck we are looking at is a Pete 367 which is there version of a T800. Only problem with it is they seem to weigh more than a comparable 388 or 389.

Well tow speed rears are out the window. Way to much cost.
