  I was waiting for you to chime in.

I do appreciate your help and it was a tough decision between the 2, but I am thinking, or at least hoping, that Lone Star will be a better fit (the sign on bonus doesn't hurt either . )

Mother F&%*#@g thieves!!!!!!!!!!

I park my truck and trailer at a so called secure lot about 5 miles or so from my house. I pay a freaking $150 a month along with about 6 other drivers. I stopped there this morning to get something, and someone(s) busted my drivers side window and stole my CB and flat screen TV. They left all my tools, flashlights, GPS, everything.......just took the damn CB, TV, and a plastic bag that was on my bunk containing some shaving cream, tooth paste, etc I just bought.

They hit the guy next to me as well but just popped that little window out on the bottom of his passenger door. All they took from him was his CB.

Talked to the office where we pay rent and they just shrugged their shoulders and said they were sorry and not responsible. F%#*king A$$h@#^$!!

so several hours waiting on the police, several hours at the glass shop, and almost $400 bones later I'm still pissed off.

Whomever broke my window hurt themselves as there was blood all over the outside of my door and several spots throughout the cab and sleeper. I pray and hope they hurt themselves bad and that their wound gets infected and they die!!!!

Sorry for the ranting, but it just pisses me off to no end. I absolutely HATE thieves. there are so many of us out here working hard for a decent living and then there are a$$holes that want everything for nothing.

Gratz on the Lonestar move Buddy! I'm going to be watching that new thread with great interest!!
And I'm very sorry about ur truck being broke into. Secure yards are jokes unless their like the one knight uses in Monticello. 24 hr onsite staff and 5 dogs that live there and light up the night with barking if so much as a mouse farts in another state.
It's kinda funny that they took ur little bag of toiletries. When I was a kid in Seabring,Fl, our house got broke into and it took my Dad about an hour to stop yelling. He finally sits down in his easy chair and asks my Mom to get him a fudgicle. My Ma starts laughing and He asks what's so funny? She says," They stole those too"! I thought the roar that came out of him was gonna break the windows! LOL

thanks.....I'll be reviving this thread with the updates. If just HALF of what "they" (Lone Star) say is true, I should do alright there financially. I was told by the terminal manager today to be prepared to go through the "ringer" at orientation. When I asked her to elaborate, she stated that they are extremely hard when it comes to inspecting the equipment and drilling their rules, regs, and policies in your head. On the equipment, she said they will inspect every chain, binder, strap, winch, etc.

DD, awesome avatar. I'm ex AF and I always thought the Navy had the best "art" on their Acft. We had some pretty good nose art on some things but I thought the Navy was best.

DD,

Sorry to hear about the break in. I agree...some people have no respect.

Best of luck to you at Lonestar...like alot of others I am in the background reading.

Thanks, but as much as I would like to take the credit, I can't. I provided Rev a pic and he used his talent to modify it the way I wanted. End result is what you see and I think it looks pretty cool............thanks again rev.

Thanks Jeff. As I stated in a previous post, it was a tough choice between Lone Star and Landstar......I will find out soon if I made the right choice.

Yeah so many people have zero respect for others and their property. I am heading over to my truck today to check on it and hope I don't find any other problems.

Yep...there are two things I will not tolerate from my guys and make it a point when I sit down with each sailor in my Division..... liars and thieves. Unless its an extreme case, I wont take them to Mast...but I damn well will make there lives more "difficult" on the declplates. And when it comes time for them to want Special Liberty or something.... I will certainly be scrutinizing the request harder.

I hope you find your truck in good health, Brother.
