Happy New Year. I hope that everyone has a safe and prosperous new year.
Just a quick update: I'm still at home enjoying my time off with the family. Went down to the shop yesterday to check on the progress of my truck and she's looking good. They got the clutch brake replaced, fenders were painted, the new bumper (replacing the damaged 18" Texas square with a 20" Texas square with lights) and the new drop visor are both in. Because of the holiday, they won't be putting her back together until Monday so I should be getting her back either Monday or Tuesday. Once I get it back I will replace the existing exhaust system with the Dyno Flex 8" straight pipes I've got sitting in my garage. Once I get those on I'll post some pics.

I'll do it myself with help from my son.

Well I got the truck back from the shop and just finished installing the straight pipes. With the new color fenders and all the little extras I added, I have to brag, I think she looks great. I'll get some pics posted later today or tomarrow.
My son left yesterday and headed back to college in Virginia. It was great having him here as we did a whole lot of father-son bonding activities. It's amazing how our "babies" grow up so fast. I still have several small projects around the house as well as a "honey-do list" to work on but plan to get back out on the road some time this coming week if I can find something decent.

I cant wait (as I rub my hands in anticipation). I, too had to go back to work this past week. After 3 weeks off it was quite painfull (literally) when I shaved my gotee. I told my wife when I retire I am growing mutton chops......LOL..... she in turn responded she would shave them off while I sleep. All the best to you and your family in the New Year. R/ Frat

Here are the pics I promised. The first 2 were taken right after I bought the truck (these are the before pics), the last 3 are after the repair work and my added extras (these are the after pics) . I don't have any of the pics from the accident handy, but basically the left fender, fender gaurds, and bumper (along with all the mounting brackets for all three) were damaged. It's kind of hard to see the new color of the fenders, but they are light gold and match the lettering/numbering on the truck.
