How did you get into trucking?
Hi, I'm not a trucker, but I do a lot of writing for trucking companies and trucking publications. I'm working on something about why people get into the business. Would like to hear from anyone who cares to share their story about how they wound up driving for a living. Thanks.

well.. my dad does it.. his dad did it...
oh and i screwed up in school and this was my "fall back"..

My company decided to buy a dump truck and trailer to move our own equipment and haul dirt, sand, gravel or debris. They needed a driver, I got my Class A and here I am 11 years later still doing it.
