It is amazing that there could be such a wide range of rates with the same assigned risks.

I'm looking at the policy right now and it looks fine. I also had it faxed by Progressive to every broker I carried for and it was fine. I got my authority and everything else with that policy. I know of a few other people that are running with the same policy and price. I think it would be crazy for anyone to complain that they are not paying enough for there insurance and to grab it if it's offered.
Beats me then Steve. I don't know one way or the other, just relaying what I was told. Maybe she was BSing me.

Hey did you ever find insurance? Just curious.... I'm in the exact position now. Got a truck and reefer 4-6 months of experience. Need to take it over for my old man for similar reasons. I'm going to start calling around tomorrow and later this week. I've seen/know what kind of money I can generate in the truck, but definitely don't want to pay 18=20k a year. May be my only option though. I'll have to see what is needed of me. I definitely don't mind it though. I'd be making better money than working for a company, but at the same time I'd have everything on my shoulders. It's only temporary though. Sometimes you can't help the situations you get into, but at least he and my family know I'm willing and have a good heart and attitude.

I asked for cargo they said they dont offer it. The insurance does cost more for one year than the setup I was looking to get. Gonna try a few more places, hopefully someone else will be less.
