Default inframe kit's

I am going to have an in frame done this spring. local shop, that I may use, say's aftermarket kit's are a lot less expensive & he has never had a problem out of them. he use's what ever the customer want's. if I can save a few hundred buying aftermarket, should I ? I had the bottom 1/2 done 100,000 miles ago & all 6 injectors done 130,000 miles ago. was looking at just putting in ring's sleeve's,pistons, cam, cam bearing's & head resurface. does this make sense ?

If he's had good luck with the aftermarket, then he may know better than most. I was advised to buy the real thing and I did. My M11 kit was a little cheaper from the aftermarket, but not enough to make me want to go that route.

I had a CAT certified mechanic tell me that he uses aftermarket parts when he does an overhaul on his own equipment. According to him he has never had a problem with the aftermarket parts.
