Glad I didn't jump at the email that gave me the opportunity to find out about it four hours before the rest of the world! Yeah, I'll look at it. Right now I'm laying over, drinking beer and watching basketball.

I sure wish he'd can Jam Turbo so I could have more confidence in him.

He said on his show the truck will cost somwhere between 100k and 105k. Spend $115k and get a new truck with new parts. It is not profitable to purchase a kit unless you are running an old truck and want to upgrade the chassi or you wrecked your truck and still have a good drive train. I have seen some Peterbilts going for 115k to 120k new. Thats just my 2-cents.

Either that, or buy a truck yourself and just spec it out the same way, and avoid the "Rutherford markup", which I'm sure is quite high.

I have to agree with some on his site that are stating that this truck is foolish, because the engine will not meet any of the future EPA requirements.

Did you see the rear end ratio?:hellno: Good luck pulling a hill in that thing.

I love my truck the way it is. So what if it sucks too much fuel. It'll sure blast up a hill! Of course, I do realize, theoretically, if I had a Turdblow 3000 on it, I could go up the hills in 14th gear (with my 13 speed) and get 8 miles to the gallon (Instead of 6) but hell, fuel is cheeeep!

I'm inclined to believe it would be a great truck, much better than new. It's like Trick My Truck for guys who actually make a living with them, not just a nice TV show. I don't know anything about ceramic and teflon coated pistons but I just bet they're better than a fireplace. :rofl:

Yeah, Kevin's a self-promoter, but that doesn't mean he doesn't know a lot and have a lot of good advice.

I just got my fingers burned on the Turbo 3000 and am not ready to forgive or trust him again. There's always that one little thing- after 7,000 miles, my Vada hadn't done a damn thing for me. But...what if...30,000 miles!? Ah, forget it. I'm listening, but I'm taking everything with a grain of salt, too. I am probably going to pick up one of those Walker Mega-Flow mufflers, unless one of you guys tells me I'm wasting my money.

I know nothing about that particular muffler, but I do know that the less restriction the muffler provides, the better the fuel economy.

Who had the mufflers that looked like straight pipes? I remember seeing them at Mid America 5-6 years ago. They were supposed to be high flow and give better fuel mileage.

The pistons are good. That works. Brush up on thermodynamics and ceramic technology. PTFE is slick. I've got some in my hotrod Caterpillar.

I bet Bruce had second thoughts about this business venture with that Turdblow 3000 pipe nipple in the mix.
