These are the responses I expected, so I'm not disappointed. One of these days someone with a different approach or plan will come along and get this to work, but I can see that ours didn't work. The ones that did shutdown will get only the satisfaction of knowing they tried to make things better by doing SOMETHING, instead of just taking it in the pocketbook again.
We will never really know how many did park at least a few days, but I would hope there are more than just a few who care enough to try to do something. When the new tariffs come out next January, it will be interesting to see how many drivers will haul for the new rates and how many will be looking for new companies. As I promised, you won't have to listen to me preach any more. Obviously, my message wasn't either heard or understood and I can live with that. Good luck with whatever road you take.

Hey Meddie I don't know anything about this protest and I don't know anything about your part of the industry or the tarrifs but these types of things don't work. There is one line of the Declaration of Independence that always stuck in my head and you would be wise to learn it"
All experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. That's how I remember it it might be off a bit. Good luck to you anyway.
