I googled Army reserve age restriction and it said age 40.

They don't call it the ORANGE ARMY for nothing.
They would like to have recruits that they can order around, live in hardship, pay them beans, and the army may be a good source for that. No offence to the military, they have my respect, but the freight Schneider hauls (toilet paper and soap), doesn't quite rise to the national security level, but some of the Schneider guys believe it does. There were a lot of military guys involved in the training academy I went to. I frankly got tired of the marching and saluting and went awol from the orange army.  I don't believe you need to use intimidation to motivate people, so it grated on me.I don't regret the training at all. |
