SUCK big time? I took that route today, didn't know about the "pay a toll every fifty feet" rule. By the time I got to the last three booths, and dumped about forty bux in tolls, I had to give them an IOU since they would not take a hundred dollar bill. If I EVER take a load back into that region, that is one toll road I will avoid!

Man, I was glad to get out of THERE! Sitting tonight at the Ameristar Casino in Council Bluffs, in the rain.... Maine was nice. 8)

When I went up there I couldn't believe how many tolls I had to pay... I didn't even get off the highway and I paid toll three times... Thank god GTI pays you back but after that run up there for the first time, I always stopped and picked up some cash before hand... Oh, and don't miss your exit to go around Chicago like I did during rush hour and have to go through downtown... doh!

The Skyway is a ripoff for as much traffic/backup is on there. Run 80/94 to 94 north next time

I hung up my OTR keys for the time being... I was going to go back but gordon is acting immature so I went local and I'm having otr withdrawls. I have to get some dental stuff covered in the next couple months and then Hopefully I'll be driving for another carrier with blue trucks sometime in August.

The only thing worse than taking the toll road around Chicago is not taking the toll road around Chicago. :?

What was really bad was when they had 80 torn up and they seemed to have no guilty conscience whatsoever about making you wait literally an hour or two to collect your $3. :x
