As a future owner op. i want to kno which is best to haul flatbed a KW 900l, Perterbilt 379, or Freightliner classic considering weight, ride, and fuel consumption(i know they all probably have low mpg but i was wondering the best)

The best one is the one you don't have to pay the fuel costs for.

Nobody in their right mind would buy one of those nowadays.

When I pulled a flat with my w900 I got around 5.8 to 6.0..475 turned up to a 550 13 speed 3.55 rears and tall 24.5 rubber....it had a few tweaks done to it and would pull to 2400 rpm (e model cat) and rarely fussed about anything I put behind it....I started doing hhg and it dropped to about 5.4 mpg runnong less than 70k lbs the majority of the time due to the wind resistance..but I agree the best truck is the one you pay no expenses for
