+1 for HHG I guess....rental truck wise.

Any plans on a big bunk or do they have some heavy stuff on the LS boards? I'm not allowed one and we got a strict weight limit at my agent due to our account with 34000lb machines (using hhg reefer trailers).

I'm considering changing my bunk out, or having my existing one stretched. I could squeeze everything into my 70", but it will be cramped. If I could stretch it to 100", I'd be golden. The weight isn't really much of an issue for me. I try to avoid any load over 40,000 lbs anyway (which still gives me 3000+ lbs to play with). The military stuff I've been hauling is very light. The heaviest loads are axles, and they only weigh 24,000 lbs.

Basically, what I would have had to do is have my truck pulled out of the fleet, have the rental truck put into the fleet, have a Landstar inspection done on it, get permits for that specific truck, run for 2 weeks, have THAT truck pulled out of the fleet, have my truck put back into the fleet, have an inspection done on my truck, and have new permits issued for my truck. Pretty lame.

Rev...I gotta say those headlights are the COOLEST idea of the whole project.

Truly unique.

They added about an inch and a half to the bottom of each headlight bucket, and except for looking on the inside, you can't even tell. I am very impressed with the work this shop is doing (even if they are taking their good sweet natured time doing it).

I will be getting some work in progress pics during the build.

I've always wondered what a classic teardrop looking headlight would look like. Can't wait till it's done.
