Making some changes to my truck's appearance

Figured I'd bump this since Booth is trying to claim that the work will never happen. The body shop that I'm getting the work done at just finished with a show truck, and they are working on my project now. They already have all the parts except for the rear fenders. The 41 Chevy headlights are really cool looking, from what I've been told, and they actually match up to the LaSalle fenders quite well. They will receive a complete rewiring to allow a set of the brightest headlights I can get for them.
The only major issue so far has been the rear fenders. The body shop doesn't want to weld a pair of fenders together, because they feel there must be a cheaper way of doing what I want. They actually got in contact with the guy who designed the fenders (he no longer works at the company that manufactures them), to see if it would be possible for him to do a one-off full fender set. Still not sure what the resolution on that one will be, but that seems to be the major delay right now, as they don't want to take the truck until they are completely ready to begin work on it. The current time frame is about 3 weeks until the truck goes into the shop, and 9 days to do the entire job. And for Booth's benefit - the work is already paid in full.
