Mapping Software w/ Satellite View?
Do any of the popular mapping programs include a satellite view similar to Google Earth or Virtual Earth? Does not have to include the "bird's eye"/45 degree view, overhead with zoom would be enough. Looking for a program that does not require an internet connection. I should add that I'm not looking for a GPS unit with that capability, just a program to install on a laptop. Already have a GPS.

delorme does. it has a few loaded when you buy it. a coupon for more that you can download "you pick the ones you want" and then you can buy more if you wish. you will only need an internet connestion to download. "you can do that at home" after that thay are yours forever
