My wife thinks I am the worst driver on the planet.

My wife doesn't say much anymore, I get too pissed off, that's one thing that really annoys me is backseat drivers. Here's what I say to them "Who's driving this truck me or you?"
I must admit I have what I like to call an "Interstate foot". I drive interstates almost everday so if my mind wanders while I'm driving on some back roads, I've caught myself doing 60-65 before. ops:

If she doesn't like how you drive then tell her to stay off the sidewalk. My wife also hates how I drive. We go to Ga. for Christmas every year and she has to beg me to stop so she can go to the bathroom. A truck driver just gets used to not drinking a lot of liquids so that you can actually get somewhere and only have to stop when you need to. It could be trying to make all left hand turns. Maybe she wants to travel farther then around your block. 3 lefts make a right, I wanna go home.

When I used to race karts competitively, I'd step into my 4-wheeler and drive like a saint. The weekend after I stopped racing, I got a ticket for a 40 in a 25-oops! This was a long time ago, but anytime I finish up pulling a 45k load and get into my dakota, down goes the foot to the floor, and I go "oh damn!"

My reply (in Butthead voice) "I've got a pass A@@wipe" I don't think I've gotten in anything but the right-hand left turn lane either. After running a forklift for 8hrs I often try to use the turn signal to shift gears; I also find myself reaching for the jake selector in my Jeep when going downhill.
