Default need a place to stay in VA tonight....

My driver needs a safe place to park tonight in VA. Approx 7:30, somewhere between Front Royal and Fredericksburg. Any suggestions?

That's going to be a tough stretch, especially that late in the day. Maybe someone knows a business park or something where he can park on the street. Good luck.

If your driver is stopping in the Front Royal area, SB off I-81 to EB I-66, take the first off ramp on I-66, turn left at the bottom of the ramp, then go about 3/4 mile north of 66. There is a Shell Station there with truck parking...about 35 trucks can park. Mickey D and Taco Bell there close.
Further south on I-81 are the TS's at Strasburg.

There is a WalMart in Manassas near I-66. It isn't a super store, but there is a McDonalds and Arby's next door. I don't recall the exit number. It is on the South side of the interstate. There is also a small shopping center just South of there you can park.

thanks Orange.

that will be convenient if he's ready to stop that soon. He'll be SB on rt 522/340 anyway so he'll be driving right by.

I heard of another place also. A TS on rt 17 ~10 miles S of Warrenton. That will put him 40 miles from the shipper. Just depends on how far he wants to go tonight.

thanks again.

thanks Gman.

The rest area N of the scalehouse were full. The scalehouse is closed. So now he's going to try the Shell that Orange mentioned. Hopefully we can get this thing parked tonight sometime.
