Spend the $$$ on a Espar or Webasto heater. Ive seen them advertised for just over $800 (U.S.) uninstalled. Two people that have some mechanical skills can install one in less than 4 hours. No open flame, no dangerous gases in the cab, you wont hear it run and if you run in cold areas alot, it will pay for its self in the first winter in fuel savings alone.
We have Espars in all 3 of our trucks, will easily keep a 70" sleeper and cab more than warm enough ALL NIGHT.

$3,100 total for both installed.

For my operation this was the best choice for me,unlike you I have enough experience in this industry to know what I will need to operate and what isn't wise, now if I could just get Maniac to post the numbers to back up my statements because I don't have them with me. By the way if the little fan motor drains my batteries I have some serious problems.
