I don't see why you've never posted any of those things. You certainly have enough other posts that are entire works of fiction, created by your too large to be legally transported over public roads in any state or province imagination, which large as it is, is entirely dwarfed by the size of your ego. Heck, you've made up enough other stuff, make up some numbers too.

And give Boothie a kiss for me when you tuck him in tonight,

I have never found myself wondering who any of them “really” are in “real” life, as I don’t think it matters much. I have my own authority because I was tired of working for imbeciles. I’ve known many owners of trucking companies, large and small, who were incompetent; so whether or not any of these guys (or gals, since I don’t know anything about them) has 20 trucks and a successful company or not makes me no difference. All three have made good points over the years and even when I have disagreed with one or all three, I believe thier input added to the discussion. The more voices we hear from, the better the debate and the better the opportunity to learn. I even enjoy Hobo’s dissertations on occasion, though he can get long winded at times… but of course what would you expect from a truck driver?

It’s too bad that a sincere discussion amongst (I’m assuming here) adults has to deteriorate into name calling and accusations. To be honest, that sort of thing is one of the main reasons I only have 272 posts in the 4 years I have been a member of CAD. I prefer not to subject myself to such antics. Maybe this board would have benefited from my participation, and maybe not, but we will never know. I will continue to be selective about where, when, how and what I post; and I imagine others will continue to do the same. It really is a shame.

You may not say much, but when you do it is straight and to the point.

Good post.

Maybe we ALL need to reflect on that one a little while.

Posters with combat experience of over a 275 post count, know that alittle drama increases interest, attention, and excitement.
Viewer traffic spikes, and a dull thread gets bumped once again to the top of the page.

To be honest, I'd even like to see a bout of over-moderation and some bannings.
It's been awhile since BigD been banned (and that's always funny)
But it would be nice to start banning some new folks for a change.
Matter of fact, I'm planning to go off my meds later today.

I will take that as a compliment. Though I generally do not receive praise well, I do appreciate the sentiment, and if I could ever figure out how to call up some of those cutesy emoticons, I'd insert the red cheeked embarrassed one here.

Okay so now the thread I started is dull! Well, you can't please all the people all the time (unless you're my ex-wife... she was a bi-sexual stripper so she does a pretty good job of that I guess).

To tell the truth, I hate to see anybody get banned. If somebody is out of line, they should simply be ignored. For those who like to snipe at each other, start a "Mosh" section for them to sling mud at each other.

Oh by the way, if you're anything like my oldest brother, PLEASE CONTINUE TO TAKE YOUR MEDS. One guy arguing with the television and sleeping with a butcher knife is enough.

Glad I can help keep your dull thread bumped to the top.

You really need to get a sense of humor.
But maybe that is why it's taken you so long to get your cherry popped.

Ummmmm, I'm pretty sure what I was using was a device known as sarcasm. Sarcasm is a form of humor.

Below is a link to a wonderful description of WHAT sarcasm is.

And most importantly, here is a link to a page titled, "How to Detect Sarcasm in Writing."
