Anyone know of a good 100% O/O company that runs mainly East coast??
We are not 100% O/O,but I don't think it matters much, never been a concern with me,you can run tanker up and down the coast and within a day or 2 of home and only stay out 7-10 days or less and average $1.50@ mile to the truck all miles and still enjoy the boat.

Thanks mike3fan, I dont think tankers is Bo's cup of tea....we will snoop around after we get settled and see what we can find. Even local work would not be out of the question....We did check with Mason Dixon and they seem to have a good program. they charge 150per wk for a stepdeck not to bad I guess.

We are in OKC at the Petro on 35/40. We are giving betty lou a break. She worked hard today 8) we are only taking this load to Grand Island NE someone else is taking it to cananda. The rate is just not worth the possible 1500 mile DH BACK to grand Island. It is OK with me, I really wanted to go East anyway. Our load is heavy it is a big Case dump truck....it has 6 wheels on it and it is huge. I'll take pics in a little while.

we got ins quotes for our authority today and that was sickning too.....6000.00 for cargo and 2300.00 for the truck
weird. IIRC we pay ~$2,500 cargo and $10,500 liability for each. This is with Markell.

Sorry to hear about the truck......but it always seems to work out that way. Gotta budget for $15,000 in the first year and $10,000 every year thereafter. We bought a T800 in December and after a turbo, cylinder head, mains and rods, we are right on schedule.

Was it the T600 that broke or the Freightliner? Did you lose your driver? What happened....Turbo?

It was the Freightliner and the truck was turned in with some signaficant damages. The driver does read this fourm so I cant say to much right now. I feel there will be lawyers involved and so on. So it is best not to say to much right now.

I can say this....DO NOT hire friends or relatives!!!!!

I'm sorry to hear about the issues and hope you resolve them without much heartache...especially when (ex)friends or family are involved. Good luck.

Question for you....why did you choose to run the KW vs the FL Classic? It would seem that there would be much more room for the both of you plus dogs in the Classic due to the larger cab. Just wondering.
