Yep, we are fine. We have been really busy. Spent yesterday all day at the ports in Baltimore. We are on our way to TX with a big farm machine. Rate is REALLY good.

We got our first paycheck from Diamond and it was 400.00 more than I thought it would be. We made over 3,000.00 last week. We spent less than 1,000 in fuel. I reall think this is a good fit for us.

Will wrtie more later. It is so windy here in VA today and I will get seasick if I type to much!!

no team driving here!! I am the NAGavator as Steve says 8)

1300 miles last week. Not bad. We pulled two oversize last week.

This week will be even better. We are under an oversize load now and it is paying US 3500.00 So we are looking at 4000.00 + this week. Good thing too. We are headed to the shop as I write this. We are going to KW in Jackson TN to have a seal replaced in the rear end

Oh well, KW said they can fix it tonight so we will be back on the road at daylight.

We NEED a TV!! I am so board now that he does not run hard anymore...wow what a difference between running 3000+ miles and less than 2000 miles. No more squeezing out hours for the log book 8)

Well I better go for now, we will be in Jackson soon. I will update after the "Dr." looks at it.

They aren't really O/O's....at least not in the traditional sense. May sound funny but they know what I mean. They're in the 99th percentile I would imagine. Tootie's dude is one smart cat figure.

I am soooooo glad to hear the part about running less miles. Is it kinda a like a light went on when you figured that out? That's the way it was with me anyway. It's like OMG everything I ever heard about trucking is COMPLETELY BACKWARDS.

Let the suckers run hard. They don't know what they don't know.

OK, We got the truck out of the shop at about midnight last night. It needed a couple of seals put in. We think the seals may have dried out while the truck sat for 3-4 months. (there was a title problem) So they couldnt sell it till that was straightened out. We got out of there for less than 600.00

Back on the road today and ran right into those storms in TN and AR!! That slowed us down alot. Then we finally cross into OK and the wind picks up and it is REALLY bad. So we stop again....we are at the Flying J at the 264 mm off I 40. Hopefully the wind will die down tonight....Driving in the wind really wears hubby out. He says it is hard fighting the truck to stay on the road. I know it is in a car.....I cant imagine driving the truck. He is a good driver and knows when enough is enough.

Hopefully we will make it to TX tomorrow afternoon. I will post more then.

Good night.

tootie
